Florida Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test (CJBAT)

The Florida Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test (CJBAT) is a requirement for entry into the basic recruit training programs for law enforcement and corrections.
  • The CJBAT at NFC is given several times each week.
  • Register for the CJBAT online by creating an account Pearson VUE. Payment for the exam is made on the Pearson VUE website. When you register, search for "North Florida College" by searching zip code 32340.
  • You will receive a confirmation email after you register.
  • On the day of your test, arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring two forms of ID to the NFC Testing Center, Building 16. Acceptable forms of ID for the CJBAT include a State Driver's License and Social Security Card.
  • Study materials are also available on Pearson VUE.
