Fitness Center Open to Students By Appointment

The NFC Colin P. Kelly Fitness and Wellness Center is now open to NFC students by appointment only. Community passes and access remain closed until further notice. 

NFC students can schedule one-hour sessions

  • Fitness Room open M-F, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. by appointment only
  • Must be current NFC student with NFC ID to make appointment/workout
  • NFC students may reserve (1) one-hour daily fitness session between
    • 8:00-10:30 a.m.
    • 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
    • 2:00-4:30 p.m.
    • Monday-Friday; closed weekends
  • One-hour session may be reserved up to 24 hours in advance or day of space allowing

    • Reservations made on a first come, first served basis
    • Multiple day/session reservations not available at this time

Sentinel Safety Protocols and Requirements

  • Temperature check required prior to entry
  • Must wear face mask at all times, including during workout
  • Locker rooms and showers are closed, not available
  • Water fountains are not available for use
  • No more than 10 people allowed in Fitness Room at one time
  • Don't forget your NFC Student ID; required for access to Fitness Center
  • Fitness Room closes at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. for routine cleanings

Things to Know - Fitness Room

  • You must have a Student ID tag to be able to use the facility. You may register each semester at the front desk to update your student status.
  • Everyone that enters the building must have their ID scanned to be allowed to use the facility. You may only enter through the main entrance during operating hours.
  • You must have a towel to work out in the fitness room. You may bring your own towel, or rent one from the front desk.Towels must be returned when you leave.
  • You may only wear athletic (rubber soled) shoes-no open toed shoes, flip flops, sandals, crocs or dress shoes.
  • Proper workout attire is required - no jeans and shirts must be worn at all times.
  • Locker rooms are closed at this time.
  • Drinks must be in a container with a screw on lid in order to be allowed in the fitness center. Cups with lids or drinks in containers that may spill are not allowed.
  • Cell phones are NOT allowed in the fitness areas.
  • Do not drop or throw weights in the free weight areas. Do not lean plates against walls or machines.
  • Be courteous to your fellow students and faculty/ staff while working out.
