Student Counseling Services

Student Counseling Service for NFCC

What is the Student Counseling Service?

The SCS is a confidential FREE service offered to current students at North Florida Community College (current NFCC identification badge required; must be 18 or have custodial consent). SCS provides assessment and short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals through Resolutions Health Alliance (RHA) of Lake City, Florida.

Are the SCS services confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is essential to the success of the SCS. Your SCS records are not included in any of your college records. Your confidentiality is protected within confines of applicable state and federal laws. Any information about you cannot be released without your permission or as required by law.

Who will provide the services?

SCS provides assessment and short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals on the NFCC campus through Resolutions Health Alliance (RHA) of Lake City, Florida.

The counselor’s office is located in the NFCC Fine Arts Building (Bldg. 10, Rm 14).
