Student Counseling Service (SCS) at NFCC
The SCS is a confidential FREE service offered to current students at North Florida Community College (current NFCC identification badge required; must be 18 or have custodial consent). We provide assessment and short-term counseling, crisis intervention and referrals (up to 5 sessions per semester).
In association with Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, qualified counselors are available to NFCC students free of charge. Fifty-minute sessions (up to five/semester) may be scheduled on campus or in Tallahassee. Call toll free: 1-877-501-0956. TTY: (850) 431-5157.Discussions are confidential.

Counseling will be available on-site at NFCC Madison, Florida in a private office (Building #32 - College Advancement Offices on NW Alligator Trail) or you may elect to travel to the office in Tallahassee located at 1613 Physicians Drive. On-site service hours for NFCC’s Spring Term 2011 will be from 10am-3pm on the following Tuesdays:

Confidentiality
Confidentiality is essential to the success of the SCS. Your SCS records are not included in any of your college records. Your confidentiality is protected within confines of applicable state and federal laws. Any information about you cannot be released without your permission or as required by law.
