Mission Statement The mission of the Student Advocate Ombudsman's Office is to create an environment where students, seeking resolution to concerns and feeling free of fear of retaliation, can receive information necessary to proceed with the resolution process and where the campus, through open discussions of concerns, becomes a fair and just environment in which to learn. |
NFCC's Student Advocate/ Ombudsman is trained to provide confidential, informal, and neutral assistance and dispute resolution for students who encounter difficulty on campus with faculty, staff, fellow students, services, programs, and admissions. The current advocate/ombudsman is Stevie Fenton. The Student Advocate/Ombudsman's Office is located in the Fine Arts building #10, room 5.

Student Advocate/Ombudsman 2007-2008 Annual Executive Summary Please note: Complete records of annual reports and pertinent documents are retained in the Student Ombudsman Office and the President's Office. In addition, complete Ombudsman survey results are retained in the Student Ombudsman Office. These records are open for review upon request.
