College Credit Courses All students entering college credit programs are required to take the state-mandated college placement test or to present a satisfactory score on either the ACT or the SAT-1. If you have ACT, SAT-1 or FCELPT (CPT) scores less than two years old, submit them with the NFCC Application for Admission. These scores help the College determine student placement into college-level English, math and reading courses. If you have never taken the ACT or SAT-1, you will need to take the Florida Entry College Placement Test before you can register for classes.
Career & Technical Education Students seeking Career & Technical Education Certificates must take Form A of the T.A.B.E. (Test for Adult Basic Education).
Public Safety Academy Students seeking admissions to corrections and law enforcement programs must take the Florida Basic Abilities Test FBAT.
For testing information: Call 850.973.9451 or 850.973.1665 or go to Testing and Assessment.
