How do I apply for admission to NFCC?
| The Application for Admission is available on the NFCC website. At this time, however, the application is not web interactive and must be printed and mailed to North Florida Community College, Office of Enrollment Services, 325 NW Turner Davis Drive, Madison FL 32340. You may visit the admissions office to obtain an application and receive assistance in completing the admissions process. Additionally, web applications to NFCC and all state community colleges and state universities are available online at www.facts.org. |
What is the admission deadline? North Florida Community College maintains an open-door admission policy, and admits all students who meet the criteria established by Florida Statutes and State Board of Education Regulation. We encourage our students to apply for admission as early as possible. Applications are accepted up to and including the first day of classes, but those students who apply earlier may have opportunities to register sooner and have greater flexibility in scheduling and planning. High school students are encouraged to apply during their senior year.
What are the admissions requirements? Applicants to the College must have graduated from high school or earned the GED equivalency diploma.
What if I haven't graduated from high school or earned the GED diploma? Adults, 25 years of age or older, who do not possess a high school diploma, a general education diploma (GED) , or a high school equivalency certificate, may be conditionally enrolled for college credit. Such persons will retain conditional status until they have completed 12 semester hours of credit with at least a 2.0 grade point average. Admission to specific programs of study at North Florida Community College is based on a number of factors, not one of which is the sole determinant in deciding eligibility. If you have not graduated from high school and do not have the GED diploma, please visit an admissions office to discuss your enrollment options.
