“North Florida Community College complies with Florida Statute 1007.02, 1007.264, and 1007.265 regarding reasonable substitutions for admission to the college, admission to a program of study, entry to upper division, or graduation for qualified students with documented disabilities. This accommodation is available for qualified students where the accommodation will not constitute a fundamental alteration to the nature of the program. The process NFCC follows is rigorous and requires documentation that all other accommodations have been tried and deemed ineffective.
A student is encouraged to meet with an SDS staff member for information regarding this accommodation if he/she wishes to begin the process of evaluation for this possible accommodation.” |
