NFCC Foundation Scholarship Application Deadline is April 28
The NFCC Foundation awards scholarships each term to eligible students as supplemental funds to help cover the cost of tuition, books and fees. The deadline to apply for Summer Term 2016 scholarships is April 28. NOTE: High school seniors wishing to apply for NFCC scholarships should contact their high school guidance counselor for more information and deadline. More Info
Public Safety Academy Enrolling Now - Corrections
New Correctional Officer Basic Recruit Course Begins May 9: Correctional Officers are responsible for the supervision, care,
custody and control of inmates in
a correctional institution or facility. NFCC's Correctional Officer
program is designed as specified by the Florida Criminal Justice
Standards and Training Commission. Successful completion of academy
training and the
State of Florida Officer Certification
Examination are required for certification.
NFCC's Law Enforcement Recruit Academy and Cross-Over
Correctional to Law Enforcement courses are open entry with
entry points available on a continuous basis.

Term 2016 class will be held on Mondays and Thursday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Need to Renew Your Florida Teaching Certificate?
Take NFCC’s “Teaching Exceptional Children” Course
Florida teachers looking to renew their professional certification through the FLDOE this year are in luck. NFCC’s “Teaching Exceptional Children” course (EEX 1010) is now being offered completely online and meets the Florida Educator Certification Renewal Requirements. The course is self-paced and gives teachers plenty of time to meet the Florida Educator Certification Renewal deadline of June 30. Class begins May 9. All NFCC Early Childhood Education programs are eligible for the T.E.A.C.H. Scholarship
The T.E.A.C.H. program provides training and compensation to improve the quality of early childhood care and education experiences by providing scholarships for caregivers and center directors.
Students are eligible to receive up to 90% of tuition and books, plus a stipend per semester. Contact NFCC Early Childhood Education for details.
