Upcoming Application & Special Deadlines

NFCC Scholarship Application Deadline is August 1

The NFCC Foundation awards scholarships each term to eligible students as supplemental funds to help cover the cost of tuition, books and fees. The deadline to apply for Summer Term 2016 scholarships is April 28. NOTE: High school seniors wishing to apply for NFCC scholarships should contact their high school guidance counselor for more information and deadline.  More Info

NEW Corrections Class Begins May 9

  • APPLY NOW! New Correctional Officer Recruit Class Planned to Begin July 18: Correctional Officers are responsible for the supervision, care, custody and control of inmates in a correctional institution or facility. NFCC's Correctional Officer program is designed as specified by the Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission. Successful completion of academy training and the State of Florida Officer Certification Examination are required for certification.

  • NFCC's Law Enforcement Recruit Academy and Cross-Over Correctional to Law Enforcement courses are open entry with entry points available on a continuous basis.

Early Childhood Professional Certificate (ECPC) Program Begins Aug. 8

  • 18-Week Certificate Program
  • Classes held Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Training in early childcare facilities outside of class
  • Meets Department of Children and Families requirement for Staff Credential
  • Aligned with National Child Development Associate (CDA)
  • Eligible for T.E.A.C.H. Scholarship

NEW for Fall 2016! The Birth through Five Florida Child Care Professional Certificate (FCCPC) Program is available in an ONLINE format. 

All NFCC Early Childhood Education programs are eligible for the T.E.A.C.H. Scholarship

  • The T.E.A.C.H. program provides training and compensation to improve the quality of early childhood care and education experiences by providing scholarships for caregivers and center directors.
  • Students are eligible to receive up to 90% of tuition and books, plus a stipend per semester. Contact NFCC Early Childhood Education for details.

New Automation & Production Technology Classes Begin Aug. 8

The Automation and Production Technology program offers training and industry recognized credentials for employment in the manufacturing industry. Students learn the latest in advanced manufacturing equipment and technology through hands on practical experience.

Certification: Students have the opportunity to earn the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician industry credential.

Funded in part by the U.S. Department of Labor and U.S. Department of Education Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant program.
