Advanced and Specialized Training
NFCC's Green Industries Institute is located on Hwy 90 just three miles west of the Monticello Courthouse in beautiful rural Jefferson County, Florida. The Green Industries mission:
Education: Provide education to farmers, gardeners, ranchers and about sustainable agriculture methods and practices through NFCC Community Education taught by Green Industries Institute staff, and through seminars and workshops taught by local educators, professionals, and experts.
Community Development: Work with partner organizations and businesses to stimulate rural economies by developing a local food system in North Florida to connect growers with customers
Community Resource: Provide available indoor and outdoor space for community meetings, field trips, and workshops
Continuing Workforce Education is instruction that does not result in a technical certificate, diploma, Associate in Applied Science, or Associate in Science degree. Continuing Workforce Education offers training and certification toward Continuing Education Units (CEU); for new or expanding businesses; training for business, industry and governmental agencies; and individuals enhancing occupational skills necessary to maintain current employment or upgrade employment.
NFCC Career High School is an accredited, online career high school where you earn both a Career Certificate and your High School Diploma.
Four-year degree programs are offered on the NFCC campus through a partnership with Saint Leo University.
