New Student Orientation

Welcome to NFCC

We are very happy that you have chosen North Florida Community College as your choice for higher education. Our friendly staff and faculty, beautiful campus, affordable tuition, and small class sizes are some of the reasons our college was recently ranked #2 of “America's Best Community Colleges” by Washington Monthly. Also, our small size makes us an appropriate transition from high school into your college experience. Every student will receive individual attention in choosing a major, a career, and planning for graduation. Each of you will also find a variety of resources along that way that make your time with us successful and rewarding.

Our New Student Orientation is designed to help you make the proper contacts as you navigate through your first semester. While you may have questions, you may also experience unexpected challenges during your initial semester. Please contact the appropriate faculty or staff member so that we may assist you and provide you with every opportunity to make yourself succeed.

At North Florida Community College we have a program and courses for everyone. Whether you hope to begin your journey through a bachelor’s degree or higher, complete training for an immediate career, or brush up on skills necessary for your current job. Get connected. Meet regularly with an Academic Advisor, get involved in a campus organization, stay up to date on offerings through the Academic Success Center, visit our Library and Fitness Center.

Hopefully, you have already met with an Academic Advisor and registered for classes this term. If not, please make sure to visit our friendly advisors in Building 2 to set up your Fall schedule and plan for courses in the future.
