Summer Advising Begins

North Florida Community College is now offering academic advising for its 2013 Summer Term. Classes begin May 6 for Summer Terms A & C and June 24 for Summer Term B. Current NFCC students can begin registering for classes as early as April 15. Open registration starts April 22. A complete schedule of classes is available on the NFCC website at www.nfcc.edu/admissions--records/catalog--schedule.

According to NFCC’s Advising Department, it’s important for all new and current students to meet with an advisor before registering for classes. Advising offers students a thorough review of completed academic coursework and academic progress; review of completed, current, and future coursework relative to academic, transfer and career goals; notification of changes to course schedules, program requirements, transfer requirements, important dates and other information necessary to facilitate timely completion of academic goals; and provides discussion and guidance for academic achievement.

For more information on academic advising at NFCC, visit /admissions--records/advising or call (850) 973-9455.
