NFCC calls for camp instructors

North Florida Community College Community Education Kids in College
Camp Instructors needed for NFCC Kids in College summer camps

The North Florida Community College Kids in College summer camps program is currently seeking qualified summer camp instructors to run half-day camp programs. Those interested should apply by May 10.
The Kids in College program provides young students, completed 1st grade through completed 6th grade, with an interactive, engaging experience throughout the summer. Camps will run Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-5 p.m. with a total of four two-hour camps each day. Instructors are paid $10/hr and are needed for the morning and/or afternoon time slots. Class size may vary between 12-25 students. All camps must have eight pre-registered students in order to run. Camps with a lower enrollment are subject to cancellation.

Summer camp instructors are currently being sought for the below possible camp topics:

Science
Math
Creative Writing
Sports
Fitness
Crafts
Art
Computers
Technology
Puppetry
Music
Drama
Ecology
Photography
Language/Culture
Living History
Dance
Careers
Culinary
 
Priority will be given to proposals and completed employment applications received by May 10, 2013. To submit a Kids in College Summer Camp proposal visit www.nfcc.edu/kids-in-college. Applicants not already employed by North Florida Community College must also complete the NFCC Application for Employment.
