Medical Administrative Specialist Open House

North Florida Community College invites potential students and the community to an Open House highlighting its Medical Administrative Specialist program on Tuesday, Aug. 6 at the NFCC Career and Technical Education Center (Bldg. 13, Room 216). Anyone interested in more information on the program is invited to stop by between 4-6 p.m. on Aug. 6. According to instructor Tammy Leslein-Kemp, the Medical Administrative Specialist program is set to begin a new set of classes on Aug. 26, at the start of NFCC’s Fall Term 2013.

“The Open House is a great opportunity for you and your family to meet the instructor and ask questions regarding the program,” said Leslein-Kemp. “There will someone available to also assist with registration and to provide information on applying for financial aid.”

The Medical Administrative Specialist Program is designed to prepare students for work as office clerks, secretaries, or administrative specialists in a medical setting such as doctor’s offices, hospitals, and medical research facilities. The program also provides supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in any of these occupations.

For more information, contact instructor Tammy Leslein-Kemp at (850) 973-1633 or lesleint@nfcc.edu or advisor Debbie Bass at (850) 973-1662 or bassd@nfcc.edu.
