Race set for Saturday, April 20th during Madison’s Down Home Days festival
Register by April 5 to get your Colin P. Kelly Fitness Run T-Shirt
It’s time to put on your running shoes and get ready for North Florida Community College’s Colin P. Kelly Fitness Run. Hosted by Colin P. Kelly Fitness Center, the run includes two races – a one-mile fun run/walk and a 5K run/walk - for those wishing to compete or to just have fun. The run is set for Saturday, April 20 in conjunction with Madison County’s “Down Home Days” event.
The One-Mile Fun Run/Walk is open to children up to 16-year-old and begins at 8 a.m. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The entry fee is $6. The 5K Run/Walk is open to all ages and begins at 8:30 a.m. with a $15 entry fee and registration beginning at 8 a.m. the day of the race.
Registration forms are available on the NFCC website at www.nfcc.edu/fitness-run-2013, at NFCC’s Colin P. Kelly Fitness Center (Bldg. 12) and the NFCC Library (Bldg. 4), Madison Fire Rescue, and the Madison County Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Office. Registration forms will be accepted until the morning of the race, however event t-shirts will only be available to those who register in advance. Advance registration forms must be received no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013.
Both the one-mile and 5k begin and end at NFCC’s Colin P. Kelly Fitness Center on the NFCC campus in beautiful Madison, Fla. Winners will be recognized in various categories.
