President Morris G. Steen, Jr. greeted nearly 300 guests to the historic Wardlaw-Smith-Goza Conference Center to recognize distinguished alumni of the college.

“Many of our alumni have distinguished themselves in their careers and in their communities,” said President Steen. “It is only appropriate that our college acknowledge and honor their achievements.”

• Matt Brown: North Florida Junior College (NFJC) graduate, President/CEO of Premier Bank, Tallahassee, Fla.

• Bill Brynes: 1969 graduate of NFJC, certified public accountant, City Manager, Perry, Fla.

• Carson Cherry: 1970 graduate of NFJC, manager for GoldKist, Inc., Lee, Fla.

• Ben Folsom: 1963 graduate of NFJC, retired Navy, senior program manager in private industry, Hamilton County and Dumfries, Va.
