Through EPI Program, people with Bachelor's Degrees and teaching aspirations can receive teacher certification designed to give them the skills they need to become a highly qualified teacher in significantly less time than required for a traditional education degree.

EPI Program Requirements
- Certification requirements: appropriate age, received Official Statement of Eligibility from the Florida Department of Education, met fingerprint requirements, hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Participate in field experience that is appropriate to his or her education plan.
- Fully demonstrate the ability to teach the subject area for which he or she is seeking certification and demonstrate mastery of professional preparation and education competence by achievement of a passing score on the professional education competency examination prior to completion of the program.
