INDIVIDUAL AWARDS
•Leadership awards will not be presented to any student who has had any disciplinary action taken or pending against him/her.
•Leadership awards must be presented to students in good academic standing.
•Leadership awards are inappropriate for students who receive significant financial compensation for their contributions.

Unsung Hero Award
This award is presented to an individual who works behind-the-scenes of a student organization to ensure its success. The individual may not hold a significant leadership role in the organization, although their contributions are great. Organization advisors and leaders may nominate club members for this award. Nominations will be judged by a campus selection committee.
Organization Member of the Year
This award is presented to one member of each student organization who has demonstrated the highest level of commitment to his/her organization and therefore made significant contributions to the NFCC community. The winners of this award will be selected by the organization sponsors or club members.
Exemplary Service to Community
This award is presented to an individual who has improved the lives of others through their dedication and commitment to the community. Although membership in a student organization is not required, nominees for this award should viewed as leaders in some aspect of campus life. All faculty and staff are encouraged to nominate students for this award. Nominations will be judged by a campus selection committee.
Rookie of the Year
This award is presented to a new student who has excelled in all areas of their college life including academics and co/extra-curricular activities. All faculty and staff are encouraged to nominate students for this award. Nominations will be judged by a campus selection committee.

Outstanding Campus Initiative by an Organization
This award is presented to an organization that has successfully completed a campus-wide project or service that helped to foster a positive campus environment for all students. Organizations who feel that they meet these criteria should submit an application. Applications will be judged by a campus selection committee.
Outstanding Community Service by an Organization
This award is presented to an organization that has made a significant contribution to one or more of the counties served by the College through a service project(s). Organizations who feel that they meet these criteria should submit an application. Applications will be judged by a campus selection committee.
Outstanding Educational Program by an Organization
This award is presented to an organization that developed and implemented an exceptional educational program on campus. Organizations who feel that they meet these criteria should submit an application. Applications will be judged by a campus selection committee.
Organization Advisor of the Year
This award is presented to an organization advisor who goes above and beyond the call of duty in their role as an advisor. They play an active role in meetings and in helping students create learning experiences outside the classroom. Student leaders/organizations are encouraged to nominate deserving advisors. In addition, faculty and staff may also nominate their colleagues for this award. Nominations will be judged by a campus selection committee.
