Earn Credit at NFCC for What You Already Know!
The College Board College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) can save students time and money, help students fulfill a graduation requirement or advance to higher-level classes.
NFCC is an open test site for the CLEP exam. Credit will be awarded to students who receive a passing score and are attending NFCC. Other examinations are available upon request, credit awarded will be determined by the institution you are attending.
What is CLEP?
CLEP is a series of examinations that allow individuals to earn college credit for what they know, regardless of where they learned it. CLEP is the most widely accepted credit-by-examination program in the United States.
CLEP exams are all 90 minutes long and are now administered only on computer. Students receive instant score reports following completion of the exam, except when there is an essay involved, score reports then can not be given until the essay is reviewed, usually three weeks. With the exception of English Composition with Essay, the exams are composed of multiple-choice questions. The English Composition with Essay exam consists of a 45-minute multiple-choice section and a 45-minute essay section, which must be typed.
