Dual Enrollment

High School Dual Enrollment

North Florida Community College, in cooperation with the District School Boards of Hamilton, Jefferson, Lafayette, Madison, Suwannee, and Taylor Counties, provides Dual Enrollment and Early Admissions opportunities for academically qualified high school students. Students enrolled in the program receive a waiver of tuition, books, and fees. Home school and non-public high school students are eligible for Dual Enrollment and Early Admissions. Contact the Office of Enrollment Services for details at 850.973.1612 or email admissions@nfcc.edu.

Students seeking to enroll on a Dual Enrollment or Early Admissions basis must meet all requirements specified by the North Florida Community College Dual Enrollment and/or Early Admissions Policy and the Interinstitutional Articulation Agreement in effect between North Florida Community College and the student’s secondary school.

Students enrolled in Dual Enrollment or Early Admissions programs must have an application for admission and official evidence of acceptable placement tests (ACT, SAT, or FCELPT) on file at NFCC. Credits may be earned for both high school and college. The Office of Enrollment Services, along with the high school guidance counselor, is responsible for the academic advisement of Dual Enrollment and Early Admissions students.

Each student’s plan should include a list of courses that will result in the completion of a certificate or degree. If the student identifies a baccalaureate degree as the objective, the plan must include courses that will meet the general education requirements and any prerequisite requirements for entrance into a selected baccalaureate degree program.
