Admissions

Being admitted to NFCC is Simple

All Students...

Group 2We welcome you to submit an Application for Admission to North Florida Community College. NFCC has an open admission policy.
You must complete an application and be admitted to NFCC before registering for courses. Only applications with the $20 fee attached will be processed.
An application for admission must be on file for the program that you wish to pursue.

New Students...

  • Submit an Application for Admission with the required $20 nonrefundable application fee.
  • Submit official transcripts from your high school and each previous college, university, or technical school attended.
  • Submit test scores:
    A. Credit students Associate in Arts, Associate in Applied Science, and Associate in Science must have CPT, ACT, or SAT-I scores no more than two years old on the date that you register. You must take the CPT if your scores are older than two years or if you do not have placement test scores.
    B. Vocational certificate students must have T.A.B.E. scores no more than two years old on the date that you register.

Returning Students...

If you have been out of school for one year or more, you must:
  • Submit a Readmission Application (no fee required).
  • Submit official transcripts from each college, university, or technical school previously attended since the term you were last registered at NFCC.
A new application for admission is required if you change your program of study, (i.e., if you were a dual enrolled student who has graduated from high school, if you were a degree seeking student who intends to earn a vocational certificate, or if you were a GED student who has received a GED certificate and intends to complete requirements for a vocational certificate or an associate degree.)
