2008-2009 – Fourth year of the QEP
- Develop and implement a sustainable marketing plan, including an active web page.
- Develop and implement a sustainable extracurricular reading program across campus.
- Assist faculty in the development and implementation of cross-curricular units of study designed to enhance reading comprehension.
- Create and implement a professional development training series on content area reading strategies.
- Identify and train reading tutors.
- Research and present opportunities for interested faculty to attend additional professional development on reading and/or learning communities either through off-campus travel or bringing resources to NFCC.
- To complete an end-of-year report for 2008-2009, ready for presentation in Fall 2009 and able to be incorporated into a 5-year report due to SACS in the 2009-2010 academic year.
