STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND PROFILE:
The enrollment for 2009-2010 was approximately 2297 students (unduplicated headcount). During spring term 2009, 1372 students attended NFCC, 1099 were credit level degree seeking and 38% were fulltime and 62% were part-time students. Of those attending the spring term, 63% were female and 37% were male. The student population is diverse: 71% Caucasian; 24% African-American, 2% Hispanic, 1% Indian/Alaskan, and 1% Asian or Pacific Islander (1% unknown). Of the spring term 2008 population, 99% are Florida residents with 92.5% residing in the College's six-county service district. The average student age is 26 years.
