 ADN Technical and Performance StandardsNursing involves the provision of direct, technical, and safe care to individuals in a variety of health care settings. Therefore, in order to be considered for admission into the ADN Program, all students must be able to demonstrate the abilities listed below. Reasonable accommodations will be made for students with disabilities. However, a candidate is expected to perform in a reasonable independent manner.
If an applicant is uncertain about their ability to meet these standards without harming themselves or the patient, he/she should make arrangements to job shadow a professional nurse in the health care facility of their choice. |
