NFCC Seminar: A Living Will can be a gift of love

The Allied Health Department of NFCC hosted the seminar with Kim Banister-Craig of Jacksonville Legal Aid as guest speaker.
Hospice music thearapy Big Bend Hospice introduces Music Therapy to LPN Program
Music therapist Julie Callaham, MM, MT-BC and Big Bend Hospice area coordinator Phyllis Williams presented information about hospice services to LPN students of North Florida Community College Nov.4.

Callaham brought along her guitar to demonstrate the use of Musical Therapy in Hospice patients.
Local PCT grad accepts position at South Georgia Medical Center

Darla Ross of Madison, a student in the second graduating class of Patient Care Technicians at North Florida Community College, is the first of 24 graduates to enter the healthcare field as a PCT professional. Ross has accepted a position as PCT II at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Ga.
